Life in America isn't as easy as it looks on television. It takes a lot of energy, determination, wisdom, relationships and even good fortune to make life happen the way we think it should be for us and our families. That's the story for us "regular folks". Now add a child with special needs to that mix and life becomes a whole lot harder, and for many overwhelming. Friends don't know what to say, so they don't call or help. Families can often have too much to say, so the special needs family doesn't ask for help. Some don't have friends or family to help, even if they wanted to.

This is where I believe Living Legacy comes in. It's our desire to come along side struggling families. First we come along side as a friend having been there, and then as an organization to help provide whatever parts are missing.
